Army Boxes hold the most Armory Loot, Mainly Guns and Ammo and lots of it.
The Scorched Lands with have a thick fog making it very hard for you to see anything around, there isn't much in the Scorched Land other then the Scorched Trees, these are a good way to stock up on Charcoal and Army Truck Structure, which contains eight Army Boxes. Kill anything that moves! These Soldiers will use their Flamethrowers in had to kill anything they see moving dead or alive, including you! Quarantine Soldiers have been given one job. Once the flames had extinguished they sent in Quarantine Soldiers to mop up anything left over. The Army dropped Napalm Bombs destroying anything below Scorching the land. 
The Army left these areas leaving nothing but a few trucks behind, then came the napalm bombs.
The Scorched Lands is where the Army first made camp to deal with the Zombie infestation after months working to fix the world they decided that fire was the only real way to clear the undead from their world.
